Catherine de Boer is a Melbourne based artist, lecturer and interior designer. Catherine works as a consultant to local interiors practices as well as director of her own company, Deboer Designs, established in 1991.

Catherine commenced her art & design career with her skilful heritage renovation of a large Federation house in Tasmania.
Moving to Darwin, the tropical north of Australia, she became known for her interiors consultancy of Government House, as well as for her work with tropical housing. This work was featured in the Top 50 Rooms by ‘House & Garden’ magazine, as well as appearing in Channel 9’s ‘Amazing Houses’ and Channel 8’s ‘Room to Move’.
Catherine now resides in Melbourne, where she works as a consultant to local interiors practices, as an artist, and teacher of art, design and architecture at RMIT University. Extensive travels throughout the world continues to bring a clarity to all her work.
